Isn't that an intriguing subject?

So it wasn't much of a trial after all and although I can't say I'm looking forward to another one, I'm not scared of it anymore. It's more complicated than getting blood work at the lab, but not more painful.

When my poor sister died recently, I took some time off from protesting against mega-corporations that make profits in the billions of dollars, yet somehow manage to pay NO taxes (through "lobbying," aka bribery of legislators, judges and executive-branch types), AND they also get tax rebates. Now, I'm back, and involved again with US Uncut-Michigan.

US Uncut is a grassroots organization that follows the plan devised by UK Uncut, with locally originating protests against government "austerity" programs that cut vital public services for all of us, and for which we are paying, while allowing corporations to hide their huge profits outside the country in "tax havens." (These tax-dodgers also get the benefit for free of the remaining public services, like roads, water, electrical, sewage infrastructure, etc., for which the rest of us pay in taxes.)
